1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the TrustedStays platform (trustedstays.my), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue using our platform.

This platform is operated by Trusted Staycations Ventures, PT 41499 Kg. Pak Tijah, 21300 Kuala Nerus, Terengganu.

2. About the TrustedStays Platform

TrustedStays is a homestay directory platform that provides:

• Listings of homestays that have been physically verified
• A connection between guests and homestay owners
• Lead qualification before being passed on to owners

TrustedStays is NOT a booking platform and is NOT a travel agent. We act solely as a trusted connecting platform.

3. Terms for Homestay Owners

3.1 Registration

• Owners must be an individual aged 18 or above, or a registered business entity
• Information provided during registration must be accurate and up to date
• Owners agree to allow a physical verification visit by the TrustedStays team

3.2 Owner Responsibilities

• Ensuring listing information is accurate and kept up to date
• Responding to leads sent within a reasonable time
• Complying with all laws and regulations relating to short-term accommodation
• Not misusing the platform for fraudulent purposes

3.3 Listing Removal

TrustedStays reserves the right to remove or suspend any listing that violates these terms, contains false information, or receives repeated complaints from guests.

4. Terms for Guests

• Guests are responsible for confirming accommodation details directly with the owner before making any payment
• TrustedStays is not responsible for any financial transaction between guests and owners in Phase 1
• Guests are advised not to make full payment without written confirmation from the owner
• Any complaint regarding a homestay may be submitted to TrustedStays for follow-up action

5. Limitation of Liability

TrustedStays acts solely as an intermediary platform. We:

• Are not responsible for any dispute between a guest and a homestay owner
• Do not guarantee homestay availability on any particular date
• Are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage occurring during a stay
• Are not responsible for any payment made directly between a guest and an owner

While we strive to ensure all listings are legitimate and accurate, our verification process does not absolutely guarantee the current condition of any homestay.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the TrustedStays platform, including logos, designs, text, and code, is the property of Trusted Staycations Ventures. Copying, distributing, or using this content without written permission is prohibited.

Homestay owners grant TrustedStays a limited license to display photos and information about their homestay on this platform.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from the use of this platform shall be resolved in the courts having jurisdiction in Terengganu, Malaysia.

8. Changes to These Terms

TrustedStays reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon being posted on the platform. Continued use of the platform after any change constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
